Unexpected Luxembourg…

On route to France we drove through Luxembourg and decided at the last minute to check it out. We knew very little about the place other than the name oozing luxury and glamour.

The city was really worth the visit for it’s beautiful natural landscape and parks, especially in the Grund area.

One of the park highlights for me had to be the pirate ship and water cascades in an amazing free kids area. We had a few beers, waited until after 7 when all the kids had gone and then ran around…

Luxembourg isn’t a cheap place so we slummed it with a picnic lunch and dinner. The camp site, a short bus ride away, was relatively cheap at 15 Euros/night with electric hook up and nice facilities.
